“Space Romance with an out of this world cliff hanger!” – The Captain and the Ambassador by Carol Ann Kauffman

Ambassador Tull Redmond is looking for a quick ride home back to Earth after ending her twenty-year mission as a peace negotiator. All she wants is peace, quiet, and to be left alone. She boards the Earth Starship Giuseppe Verdi with its questionable leader, Captain Ben Jacobs anyway. It’s the fastest way home. Her quarters have a full bath, a space view window, and a large, real bed! How bad could this rule-breaking, authority-defying Captain Casanova be? High Council hates him, true, but his crew loves him. Surely, she’s too old and tired to be drawn into this bad boy of the quadrant’s personal circus.
Will Ambassador Redmond get the quiet, uneventful ride home she craves?

Space Romance with an out-of-this-world cliffhanger!

If you love Science Fiction, Romance, Adventure, and a cliffhanger out of nowhere, then this book is for you. Carol Ann Kauffman writes clean romance and with her details and your own mind, you don’t need hot and sexy, it’s already there. I love that about her romance novels. She allows me to enjoy the true meaning of the story and lets my imagination do the rest.
This is about two people heading home to Earth. Neither expected love to come into play and neither expected huge trouble from an ex. But when you are told on the ship that your spouse has passed away, well that gives you permission to move on, even if it is with the Captain of a spaceship.
Well, there is a huge change of events with one going to jail, one being shot out of the garage shoot, and one who just wants to be happy with a new life on earth. There is lovemaking in front of a huge window looking out at the vast space and stars. There is vengeance and madness and downright evil. But there is a mystery mixed throughout it all and so many surprises along the way, especially the end.
I love Carol Ann Kauffman’s work and highly recommend her books to everyone!

“I hate that I’m ready to read the last book of the series” – Wilderness Bound (The Wilderness Series Book 3) by Pamela Ackerson

Return to the untamed world of the Lakota Matthew Standing Deer, son of Standing Deer and Karen Anderson, seeks his path in the untamed world of the Lakota Nation only to find himself hurtled into danger, uncontrollable greed, and searching for a serial killer. The twists and turns of destiny spirit him to the wild and dangerous Great Plains, introducing him to the woman who can fulfill his heart and soul; and the crush of reality for a love he can never have.

Cinderella 7

Excellent!

A bit confusing with all the different characters and places, but exciting nonetheless. My heart goes out to Matthew and Devery.I hate that Lydia is under so much suspicion and hope the next book solves the murders as well as sees the young couple finally able to get married.I miss Karen’s time traveling and wish her husband would go with her. If he’s supposed to be the soul of her first husband, he should want to go with her to the Indians, I just don’t understand why he doesn’t.I hate that I’m ready to read the last book of the series, I hate to see it end! I love this story very much!

“This one may have your heart beating wildly!” – Dark Return: Belterra, Book 2 (Time After Time) by Carol Ann Kauffman

Line Blurb

Dark Return is the sequel to Belterra, Time After Time, and takes place about ten years afterward. When Belterra was populated long ago by a select group of humans sent here by the ancients in the hope of saving the human race, the indigenous race of bat-like creatures called the Batrach were forced into the ocean and underground sea caves by a giant force field. The force field has now weakened. The Batrach have emerged from their watery prison and they want their planet back.

This one may have your heart beating wildly!

Great series–I love them!! My review of Belterra, the first book can be found here. I have been eagerly awaiting this sequel!! I am happy to say I loved it as much as I did the first! This can be read as a stand-alone–but I highly suggest you read both. There are problems in Belterra–big ones! The Batrachs have decided to try and take their country back. A forcefield has held them captive in caves for many years. But now they have someone who can help them–who is it? This one may have your heart beating wildly as the Belterran’s attempt first to fight the Batrachs–then try to make peace with them. There are important people that are kidnapped–can they be saved? I really think you will enjoy this one–and it does segue into the Time After Time theme towards the end and sets you up for another one of the books! Great series–I love them!!

“I just can’t recommend this series enough especially if you enjoy clean romance, time travel and strong female characters!” – Belterra (Time After Time Novel) by Carol Ann Kauffman

The Time After Time Series follows a pair of unlikely lovers on their adventures through life and love, this time on an alien planet divided into four tribes. When Neeka, daughter of the Lord of the Warrior Clan, was out picking lavender in their vast fields of the West, she felt him coming for her, and she was ready. When Braedon, Lord of the Soldier Clan of the East, rode into those lavender fields, searching for the woman of his dreams, he had no idea if she were even real. But there she was, standing there looking up at him, smiling. He reached his hand down to her and waited. She accepted his hand, beginning their adventures together, changing not only their lives but the course of life and unity on their planet forever. An alien planet. Or is it?

I just can’t recommend this series enough especially if you enjoy clean romance, time travel and strong female characters!

All I can say is WOW–what an epic story this one is!! I have read a couple of other Time After Time novels by Carol Ann Kauffman and truly loved them all–I am waiting to get to read the rest of this series. I read somewhere that this one is chronologically the first–and I kind of agree. There is no doubt in my mind that these are all stand alone and I am living proof that they can be read in any order!!

These two just can’t seem to get it together–even though they are soul mates-until the very very end–and even then there is a zinger.

Exciting and informational book.

I really liked the time travel element and the decisions that were made for both centuries in mind. The facts and the fictions were intermingled to give life to all concepts. Great read for those interested in the western interested reader.
