While an entire world away, men turn into dragons and ancient magic ignites the air, Casid lived on in peaceful ignorance. This tiny village and its people existed outside of the conflict which threatened to swallow Terra until the day chaos itself landed upon its shores.

Now, one lone warrior seeks to protect his family, his friends, and the woman he loves as demons rise from the flames to burn everything he has ever loved to ash. This man is no god, no fundamental force of nature. He is simply a man, alone against the fury of chaos.

Casid will be decimated, consumed by the same blaze which threatens to overtake all of Terra. But what will rise from the ashes of this once perfect haven, forged in the fires of tragedy and loss, might become the most fearsome opponent the darkness has ever known.

“Once again, Lawrencovna delivers an imaginative, well-written tale with Forevermore.” – Forevermore: A Once and Future Legend (The NeverLands Saga) by Andi Lawrencovna

There is an ancient story, of a sorceress who lived deep within the waters of an enchanted lake and guarded with her presence a sword that Destiny had decreed would be used for the salvation of mankind, or for its downfall. But the sword did not always live in the Waters…And before it was struck in stone to await its fated bearer, the sorceress and her prince imbued the blade with its magic and its fortitude. In the kingdom of Gouldaria, those without magic are the lowest of casts one can fall in, unless you are a Soul Eater, and then you are worse by far. Valislava never used her magic to steal a soul. She has kept herself hidden, allowed herself to be shunned, and lived in exile, all but for the love of the one man who she couldn’t have. Prince Talyessin always knew who and what his Isla was, and he loved her still. But love was a meaningless thing when war threatened to tear them apart.

Another great read! Once again, Lawrencovna delivers an imaginative, well-written tale with Forevermore.

And, once again, I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint being that it was just too short (yes, I knew it was supposed to be, but found myself hoping for more.) Lawrencovna is a delightful writer, and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.

“Interesting storyline with a different take and twist of the cobbler and elf.” – The Elf & the Shoemaker: A Not So Grim Short Story (The NeverLands Saga) by Andi Lawrencova

Line Blurb

Once upon a time, in a small shop sitting at the corner of the street, lived a cobbler, praying for salvation she never knew she needed.

It just so happened that at that moment, there was an elf, looking for the same…

Some stories were born to be retold, and some stories are the start of fairy tales waiting to be rewritten…

Interesting storyline with a different take and twist of the cobbler and elf. A reversal of roles that are intertwined throughout.

Eskild Fontaein should never have returned to his hometown. He could have stayed in the city where he was respected and admired, but no, he’d wanted to come home. And as the newly appointed town magistrate, the only way to be taken seriously was to be feared. Hanging a thief should fit the bill. He hadn’t wanted to do it. Wished he’d found another way. Sometimes, wishes do come true. Jaias Alvaldene, the scourge of Undcrest, madwoman, villain, thief, is dead. Well, not quite. It helps to have friends in high places, namely on the steps of the gallows when one’s about to be hung from a rope. She would have stayed dead too, if not for the town Magistrate who seemed so forlorn at her demise. What’s a good thief to do when a magistrate comes crying? When a young girl is stolen by a horde of cannibals, there’s only one person to ask for aid in rescuing her. Once a Thief, Always a thief…Can Eskild convince Jaias to help him find the child before it’s too late? Or will he lose everything to his Thief in the Night?

“This is a unique read, being a blend of science fiction with romance and a touch of mystery thrown in for good measure. – Sea Witch by Carol Ann Kauffman

Dr. Laura Martin, Chief Extraterrestrial Life Scientist at The Touchstone Institute of Oceanographic Research, noticed troubling but subtle changes in the Atlantic Ocean. Before she could make sense of it all, her longtime assistant abruptly walked out. Laura hired young, handsome Scott Conner to be her personal assistant. Mayhem ensued, mainly because of Zara, the mermaid/siren/monster in the basement of the Touchstone Institute, who eyed on Scott as her possible mate in a plot for total domination of planet Earth.“The Touchstone Institute of Oceanographic Research is the most fantastic, exhilarating place on the planet to work. It is high-energy, exciting, sometimes maddening, often frightening, heart-pounding work. It’s not a job. It’s a lifetime commitment. It gets in your blood. It grabs you by the throat and possesses you, body and soul. And it is work. If you’re not prepared to work your ass off day in and day out, weekends, holidays, your birthday, and your mamma’s birthday, leave now.”

Thrilling.

This is a unique read, being a blend of science fiction with romance and a touch of mystery thrown in for good measure. The mermaid in this story is an alien and the last of her species is kept in a special tank at Touchstone, a secure institute for the study of aliens. This is not the fabulous creature sitting on a rock, combing her hair, and looking in her mirror while she sings to hapless mariners, she is much darker and way more dangerous. Laura is the scientist in charge, and everyone wants to work with her, including Scott, who though overqualified, begs her for a place. What happens next is unexpected and thrilling. Who will survive and who will not? A great read.

“This one may have your heart beating wildly!” – Dark Return: Belterra, Book 2 (Time After Time) by Carol Ann Kauffman

Line Blurb

Dark Return is the sequel to Belterra, Time After Time, and takes place about ten years afterward. When Belterra was populated long ago by a select group of humans sent here by the ancients in the hope of saving the human race, the indigenous race of bat-like creatures called the Batrach were forced into the ocean and underground sea caves by a giant force field. The force field has now weakened. The Batrach have emerged from their watery prison and they want their planet back.

This one may have your heart beating wildly!

Great series–I love them!! My review of Belterra, the first book can be found here. I have been eagerly awaiting this sequel!! I am happy to say I loved it as much as I did the first! This can be read as a stand-alone–but I highly suggest you read both. There are problems in Belterra–big ones! The Batrachs have decided to try and take their country back. A forcefield has held them captive in caves for many years. But now they have someone who can help them–who is it? This one may have your heart beating wildly as the Belterran’s attempt first to fight the Batrachs–then try to make peace with them. There are important people that are kidnapped–can they be saved?I really think you will enjoy this one–and it does segue into the Time after Time theme towards the end and sets you up for another one of the books! Great series–I love them!!

Romance, Aliens and a Fantastic Story Line!

I love how Carol Ann Kauffman writes her stories. Sea Witch is not a part of the Time After Time series, but it sure could be. She wrote the Sea Witch the same way, love and romance like no others. That feeling of they knew each other before, even though they didn’t. The excitement of finding true love and being together. The way the characters intertwined, the loss of one of them, only to be found again. Awwwwwe! True Love!
Dr Laura Martin is the Chief Exraterrestrial Life Scientist at The Touchstone Institute of Oceanographic Research. Dr Martin is looking for a research assistant. She interviewed a few ladies and next was a man. She didn’t want a man, she got along better with women. But her colleague told her to give him a chance.
Dr Benjamin Scott Conner, is up next for the interview and is excited beyond means. He has admired Dr Martin for a very long time and it’s his dream to work with her, be next to her, love her and just have her in his arms. Well he didn’t have a chance. She already had him kicked to the curb in her mind, but he talked her into giving him a 2 week chance, unpaid. She basically had no choice. Scott, that’s what everyone calls him, was very over qualified and she asked to make him something more along the line of his degrees.
Now Dr Martin has an alien woman in a holding tank for 20 year and has mad a friendship with her. But when she sees Scott, the alien goes nuts screaming that he is her mate. He has no idea what she I talking about. Zara, the name given to the alien, becomes very hostile and has to be calmed with medication. Lara and Scott try to figure out what is going on and by talking about Scott’s background, Lara has an idea how he is connected to Zara. To find out, they have to go to his Mothers home in France. This is where you hold on to the edge of your seat and hold your breath.
Sea Witch is an Romance with SciFi and mystery added in. What a great combination! I was trying to figure it all out along the way and was surprised, very surprised to say the least at the last few chapters. The ending was all science fiction and wrapped tightly with romance. What a captivating storyline! This author has amazing talent!

Myths made real….

A peculiar and strange, but fascinating story! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It sort of reminded me of something along the lines of the movie, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. You know which movie I am talking about, right? 😊 There are a lot of intricately woven elements to this story that suck you in to the very end. Myths made real…
“Do you know why it is so dangerous to try and charm a snake, Magistrate?…Because the snake is as charming as the magician thinks he is.”
I do like that it is a paranormal type of book but it is not outlandish in the slightest. It is subtle enough that it lets your imagination run wild while continuing on with the story. This is definitely a page turner and believe me, you won’t be able to put this one down. I look forward to reading more by this author.

“I highly recommend this book and the whole series if you love some fantastic characters, an amazing world, epic battle scenes, and of course dragons and maybe a pinch of magic.” – Rosinanti: Wrath of the Faithful (The Rosinanti Series Book 2) by Kevin J. Kessler

Valentean Burai and Seraphina Kackritta barely escaped the grip of chaos. Only by working together were these two lifelong soul mates able to combat the greatest threat the world of Terra has ever known.

But when they find themselves separated, with the entire world turned against them, both princess and animus warrior must battle not only the forces of chaos and darkness that seek to end their world but their own crippling doubts and fears.

Valentean must also face the horrifying truth of himself. He is one of the last surviving members of the Rosinanti race and holds within him world-destroying power, and the unwanted uncontrollable ability to transform into a fearsome dragon.

The struggle of man vs. beast is not limited to the battlefield. Valentean will wage that war internally, within the confines of his own conflicted heart.

But, in the end, who is stronger? The man, or the dragon?

Kris
Things are just getting started for the Faithful……As it shall burn

*Sigh* Wrath…..One Book. One Thousand Feelings. This is so true for Wrath which is the second installment to
Rosinanti (Which I so cannot pronounce if I had to say this out loud lol) This novel is quite a bit longer than Ros and is packed with so many emotions. I truly feel like I can read this a billion times and still not be tired of the world Kevin created. Wrath is undeniably so much different than Rosinanti. It just is so much more. Words truly cannot explain how amazing Wrath is. I tend to get stuck in Terra sometimes which I have no regrets about. I don’t want to leave that world.

This novel continues on right where Ros leaves off…so without a doubt read in order. Sera truly shines in this one as does Maura to show that these women are not one to mess with at all. They both can hold there own in any type of battle or element. My Kay is truly a beautiful man to hate in this book. Kay and Val truly do have some epic battle scenes in this going blow to blow. If you couldn’t tell, I’m partial to Kay a tad more than Val. Aleksandra my wicked role model. All I can say is she is the center of one of my favorite scenes that I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of. We do have some new characters in this novel as well which are perfect and fit in quite well with this main group. Let me just say also I’m waiting for Zouka to die a horrible death and patience is not a virtue with me!

I literally can ramble on and on about Wrath but I probably shouldn’t. I will say you can without a doubt, see how Kevin J Kessler has grown as a writer creating this incredible world you just cannot get enough of. His battle scenes are much more epic, and just his overall style has suppressed Rosinanti by far. Ros is a fantastic debut novel which should be read before Wrath but you for sure want to get to this book next. Since this is a series, I sadly do have to wait to see what is next for these characters and to see what’s in store for this world.

I highly recommend this book and the whole series if you love some fantastic characters, an amazing world, epic battle scenes, and of course dragons and maybe a pinch of magic.
