So many mixed emotions from this book!! As Tori begins her new life as a rock star, the past isn’t quite willing to let go of her and let her move on. As Michael lets her continue her new life, with him at her side, an ex-boyfriend appears, and he doesn’t want to sit by and let Tori go. Tori is confused with her feelings and doesn’t know what to do or who she wants to be with. The band is questioning some of Tori’s actions, and things are starting to unravel in front of her. When a serious incident occurs, Tori must finally take action, with her husband and ex-boyfriend both at her side.

As you remember back in book 3 we read as Tori got married to Michael who is the brother of Henry the man in the gang The Dragons who was determined to save Tori although he lost his life that did not stop him from trying. Michael was the security for a band. Brian was the leader of that Band and for some reason he never liked Tori. Well we learn that Brian has more in common with Tori then just music. WOW, shocker there.While Tori takes off to deal with yet another gang and The Organization and Michael is off to protect The Band yet again.Unfortunately thanks to the FBI and whatever it is they are up to Tori is not out of this yet. She is yet again torn away from a somewhat normal life finally and thrown right back into the Gang life she has tried to get away from.Tori may have killed all the members of The Dragons but now she is thrown into another gang. We follow her through so much turmoil. Brett the leader of the motorcycle gang has now told Tori a lot about her sorted past.What’s in store for Tori now? Life just doesn’t want to be good to her that’s for sure.
But just like all the previous books. Tori is one very tough woman and in Exposed she is no less than a strong woman.Kudo’s again Samantha Jacobey. This book kept me reading and I want more !!!

My Favorite, So Far

This is how good the author is – she got me to read all three books (thus far) in a day and a half because I ended up staying up late late late to get as far as I could. This third in the series is my favorite, so far. It was really good to relax a bit with the heroine as she continues to grow and learn how to function in a world she knew nothing about. She is wise in so many ways and still innocent in others as she goes about setting up her *normal* life.She hooks up with the hero (in this book) and here is the author’s gifting – about halfway through, you begin to feel your heart start to pound a little faster in anticipation because you KNOW the other shoe is about to drop. Nothing tells you that as you live with the heroine’s day-to-day activities but the author has written in “looming doom” without you even realizing it. As you’re reading along, you are actually waiting… waiting… because it is coming. You know it. It “almost” ruins the story because you want to skip ahead and see what happens so you can calm down and enjoy the story – but you don’t. You force yourself to take it one page at a time.Sure there is another stinking cliffhanger. And sure it makes you go “grrr” because you have invested so much time in this amazing story, but if you are like me, you will tell yourself that you are willing to wait until JUNE for the 4th book. I don’t wanna wait, but unfortunately, I HAVE TO KNOW what is going to happen. Maybe I will wait until the entire series is written because it IS hard to read one book every few months hoping nothing happens to stop the continuation of the story.Yep, obviously, the author hooked me, for sure.

The only thing she can do is run…Though Bound is not as dark and heart wrenching as book 1, you are still captivated by Tori’s story and eagerly read on to see where it will all lead to.Samantha Jacobey has been a mastermind to write this story, has managed to captivate interest throughout.This is definitely a 5-star book, and I look forward to reading the rest of the “A New Life” series.
