I absolutely love these mysteries! I love Cat Collier and how she rolls with life. I’d die to have her fiancé Carter and his father as my in law. Nola cracks me up and this time I really thought she would fashion herself out of trouble. I love the mystery part of the book and how all the books tie together. This one was really good because of the other books being brought back in and you got some answers. These characters are fabulous together and they make the book exciting. I can’t wait until the next book to come out!

Karen has brought to life once more Laura and Jerry. I have read all but one of Karen’s books, and I really feel this one and the last are so good. She brings her characters alive so I feel I know them. Also, I sure would like to meet them. When I find an author that can make me feel I am there with the lead characters, I feel the author has done her job. I hope Karen will keep writing about these characters. She also is a very special person and hopes one day to meet her. We play a lot on pogo, I hope people will join me in encouraging her to keep writing.’

Ms. Kauffman has done a fantastic job in keeping the reader’s attention with the fast enjoyable read. Five stars for a lovely piece of storytelling.

This highly suspenseful, well-written murder mystery opens with a grizzly, horrific murder that gives nightmares to several people not related to the murder in any way. Likable, believable characters draw the reader into the nightmare, while the baffled but competent police work feverishly to stop the killer before he kills again. I highly recommend this book. Ms. Drewa, write faster!

After Graduating from the Crime scene investigator course, Laura and Gerry escape for some quality time in Jamaica. As usual, things are not going according to Hoyle for Cookie the corpse magnet as another murder takes place. The victim was obnoxious and not widely admired by his fellow vacationers but what did Donovan Mitchell do to deserve death?
Even paradise has a lot of problems, but the author makes it intriguing.

If you haven’t read a book by this author, grab this, and if you have, you will already know you have to have another mystery, suspense from this author. Laura and Gerry are back and headed to Jamaica. Of course, with Laura, you have to have murder, mystery, and a bit of fun. Donavon and Becky Mitchell are also headed to the same resort and although not Laura and Gerry’s first choice for friends they do get to know each other and then Donavon ends up dead, and readers are in for a great ride involving voodoo, murder, drugs, and a well-told tale.
