November 12, 2052: Earth has lost two-thirds of its population to the Great War. Many more lives have been lost to earthquakes, the Clover Virus, and the Death Plague. Years later, survivors are clumped into factions. Two of those factions—the Brotherhood and the Guild Faction—have battled over medical supplies and food for years. The fight is coming to a head as manpower dwindles, and the struggle becomes one to gain numbers, even if said numbers are children…
Griffin Storm, an albino man kidnapped and dragged into the Brotherhood, has transformed into a G.O.D., a Genetically enhanced Omni-dimensional being. Two weeks in the brig, and Griffin’s released after it’s determined that he’s learned to control most of his god-like abilities. His abilities have grown almost as much as his love for Tassta Vinetti and his unfortunate bloodlust. His bond with Tassta’s twin brother, Penn, has grown as well and is cemented in secrets.
Soon after his release, Griffin’s told that Guild agents and the notorious Trips (super-agents of the Guild) are in the Underground. He must now test his abilities to save the abandoned children that live there. Will Griffin rescue the children of the Underground from a tragic end? Will Tassta and Griffin’s love survive such turmoil? Can a G.O.D. forgive himself when death and destruction follow his every move? Read Blood Phase, the gripping second book in the G.O.D.s Series!

EPIC TALE FROM AN EPIC WRITER

By P.A.WILLIAMS

From the final moments from the first book to the beginning of this second book, I was already hooked with the author’s gifted style. The tale was easy to follow, and you could visualize the story in your head as you turned page after page. I thought that this was equally enthralling as the first book and I enjoyed it greatly.

I fell in love all over again
I first read this book a while ago and went back to re-read it. I fell in love all over again. This character has been through so much, and all you want is for her to find happiness and love. She is beautifully written in a strong, independent way. I related with a few of her issues and was glad to see how she overcame them and moved on. Usually, you read about the virgin and ditzy wishy-washy main character. I was glad this author went with a ‘real-life’ woman who had ‘real-life’ issues. This book has it all. You laugh, cry and want to reach through a few pages and throat punch a few people. Anxiously waiting for the next book!!!

At thirty, Lauren Ryals was a successful single woman with a biological clock that ticked like a time bomb.
Truthfully, the ticking started a few years before, but the closer she got to her thirtieth birthday, the harder it was to ignore, so Lauren decided to try adoption.
Enter her old high school friend, Tevin Frazier, expressing his willingness to help her with that problem the old-fashioned way.
Lauren dreamed of a life with her high school beau, Gator, but he didn’t feel the same; he went his way soon after he graduated. Accepting this is the only way she will become a mother, Tevin and Lauren enter an agreement and have children.
At a friend’s wedding festivities, Lauren and Gator cross paths again, and he reveals he wanted more than her body, but due to the rampant rumors about her, he didn’t feel she wanted more with him. Now they are both available, Gator offers Lauren the life he wanted with her when they were teens.
Lauren accepts, not knowing that Tevin is interested in being more than just her children’s father.

touching story
I WISH I WASN’T! RYANNE ANTHONY
This is Laurens story. In high school, she was known as the “go-to” girl for pleasing the boys. She hated that reputation. The only boy she wanted was Gator who ignored her unless she was under him. Later in life, she became a successful businesswoman with a bright future. What she wanted most was a baby.
Enter Tevin, another high school friend. He agrees to give her what she wants the old fashioned way.
This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions involving a woman who just wants love and to belong. Ms. Anthony has written a poignant story and I loved every page of it! I give I WISH I WASN’T 5 stars for a wonderful story that will touch readers!

Not disappointed!
Griffin, having earned the trust of Fortress authorities, is set to be released from The Brig, much to the delight of Tassta, his sweetheart. Although Griffin still has a lot to learn about balancing his newfound abilities against his inherent humanity, overall he does well and has enough control over his abilities to prevent caving into his inner desires. As his and Tassta’s romance heats up, Griffin gets the horrifying news soon after his release, Griffin’s told that Guild agents and the notorious Trips (super-agents of the Guild) are in the Underground. The Minter

And I wasn’t disappointed! Griffin
I had read Blood Master previously and became enthralled with Griffin Storm’s character (for my review of Blood Master, click here). When I heard that Ms. Campbell was publishing the sequel, Blood Phase, I couldn’t wait to dig in. And I wasn’t disappointed!

As his and Tassta’s romance heats up, Griffin gets the horrifying news that the Guild Faction, specifically the Trips, have invaded Underground, and are holding the remaining children, Waylene, and Skylar hostage. The chain of events that follows may be too much for even a G.O.D. to take in, and all his training to control his potentially destructive powers may be undone. The only tempering force is his love for Tassta, her family, the children, and his friends in the Underground. Readers will be taken on a real emotional roller coaster as Griffin battles both the Guild Faction and the two halves of himself, at the same time. Again, I am truly in awe at Ms. Campbell’s character-developing abilities.

Absolutely amazing

She did it again, she drew me into the book. I could not put it down. This woman is an amazing writer. I seriously can’t get enough of her.

I chose this rating because it’s a great book.

I would strongly suggest anyone who reads to read this book but you have to read Falling first. I fell in love with Greg and Cass. And so will you!!!
