It’s 2052 and Earth has lost two-thirds of its population to the Great War. Many more lives were lost to earthquakes, the Clover Virus, and the Death Plague. Years later, survivors were clumped into factions. Two of the factions, the Guild and the Brotherhood, have fought over medical supplies and food for years. The fight is coming to a head as manpower dwindles, and the struggle becomes one to gain numbers, even if said numbers are children…
Griffin Storm is hiding out in Underground Atlanta. He’s an albino man that can manipulate glass and crystal, and he uses his special abilities to raid warehouses and old buildings for food and supplies for the abandoned children that live underground. During a raid, he meets Tassta Vinetti, a resident of the Brotherhood fortress. He is taken to the fortress and chaos ensues as Tassta, her twin brother Penn, and her uncle, try to keep their new visitor and his untold powers a secret.
Griffin is the only survivor of the Guild’s deadly experiments, and they hunt for him because his survival will have dynamic consequences on the world. The Guild believes that Griffin will transform into a G.O.D., a genetically enhanced Omni-dimensional being with limitless abilities.
Will Griffin transform into a G.O.D.? Will he save the children of the Underground from their tragic life? Only time will tell…

Looking forward to seeing where it goes next.

I really enjoyed this book. It has a great collection of characters, each with their own agendas and goals, and some with secret pasts too. The writing style is very natural and contains a lot of detail to sink your teeth into. I liked how easy it was to get an idea of just how much the world has changed before the time the story is set. It’s a bleak world, ravaged by war and disease, yet there is still hope. Two completely different people find a deep connection despite the overwhelming odds against them. I felt sorry for them both by the end of the story as they were put through so much, Griffin in particular. Without giving anything away to other readers, he faces a vicious internal fight between two very powerful sides. I suspect things are only going to get harder as the series continues too.
I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes next. Hoping to see more of the elusive Guild Faction too. It’s a 5 from me, though, as I found the writing style so easy to read and enjoy.

5 glowing stars from me!

Having eagerly read Blood Master, I simply had to read this story too, especially knowing how imaginative and emotional this author’s creative mind was likely to be. Her stories ooze with great insight into the dynamics between characters while her imagination is just on full throttle, adding so much essence to the plot.
The story is like a layered cake, with Griffin and Tassta’s romance simply added as a delicious icing on the top for me…my goodness, I swooned. But, the romantic part did not distract me from the suspenseful segments of the story.
Just like in the Blood Master, the characters in Blood Phase are well-established and easily refreshed my recall of them so clearly in my head. Almost as if I was in the story, I got so caught up in it and I was compelled by my urges to read the story until I finished it, with the sun slowly peeking over the horizon in the morning.
I can’t wait to read the next sequel!!! I hope they make a movie of this story…Imagine watching it in 3D! *swoons*

EPIC TALE FROM AN EPIC WRITER
By P.A.WILLIAMS
From the final moments from the first book to the beginning of this second book, I was already hooked with the author’s gifted style. The tale was easy to follow, and you could visualize the story in your head as you turned page after page. I thought that this was equally enthralling as the first book and I enjoyed it greatly.

When things spiral out of control, will their bond be enough to save the entire community, or will rival forces strip away all that they have worked for at the time they need it most…

On the Edge of My Seat!!!!

Beautiful, charming Bailey, appears to be a confident teen – yet she is a bit of a “people-pleaser”. One of the people most important to please is her mother. Bailey’s outward appearance and upbeat personality cover a darker, more introverted mentality. She holds painful true feelings deep inside – locking her heart away.Early on in the story, something crucial to Bailey is ripped away, leaving her in incredibly stifling – circumstances. Though trapped intently within her private thoughts for what seems to be her whole life – finally, she’s forced to find strength from within and what happens will glue you to the pages of this adventurous story. This character’s rich intensity – gave me literal goose-bumps at times. I really couldn’t put it down.As the story goes along, Bailey’s attitude shifts. It was refreshing to watch her move thru this transition – becoming a resourceful woman who is fearless about doing fighting for her survival in a messed up situation. At the same time, she learns about gratitude and how to appreciate the things most people take for granted. There is a chilling theme within the plot that challenges social boundaries, yet does add to the intrigue and at times, rather disturbing revelations.Suddenly danger looms, affecting millions and time is running out! Bailey faces complicated decisions which need to be made immediately.I found myself pausing at the end of each page, anticipating what was going to happen on the next. In fact, the drama builds as the story goes on, so it is important to read the series of three books in order. I will warn you, there is some violence, but it is not domineering. The author painted Bailey’s thoughts so precisely that I could easily view the world from behind her eyes. I applaud the author for creating such an energetic and independent young woman, as opposed to some of the weaker characters I’ve read in other books. This character encouraged me and gave me hope that I too, one day, may be as fearless as she. If you love strong women, you’re going to love Bailey as much as I do.I loved this book and am shouting out for you to read it!
