Wonderful book in a wonderful series! Must buy! You will fall in love with these characters

Trish Edmisten’s New Beginnings series is my absolute favorite and was looking forward to this to be released ever since I read the preview for Ken’s story and saw him in other books. I preordered it the second it went up and was beyond excited to see it in my library this morning.
THIS BOOK AND THIS SERIES. I love them so much. They’re so realistic and the dialogue feels authentic and natural and every conversation they have isn’t some poetic monologue. The interpersonal relationships are so REAL and wonderful. And the characters are honest and insightful and I want to be their friends/feel like I am.
I’ve been SO excited for Stone’s story since I started the series and this book made me even more excited and fall more in love with Joss.
Love Cassandra and Ken’s story ❤ Now it’s time to reread the first three and then reread this one!!
The only thing i dislike about this series is the cover-art. I almost passed by this series because of it, I’m such a “judge a book by it’s cover” person but I’m so glad I got pulled in by the book descriptions because this series is SO GOOOOOD

Romance without the kinky stuff and a beautiful story too!

Madison’s Christmas is a lovely story. It’s got a lot of heart, some nice romance, and the holiday feeling I think we all experience. I really thought this story was a joy to read, and it really had me emotionally involved. The writing was good, and the plot moved along really well. I read it in one sitting because it’s so interesting! This is a perfect read for anyone who just wants some good romance without all the kinky stuff and a well-written story!

“What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger” – Mercy’s Angel’s (Elizabeth’s Story) by Barbi Barnard

Barbi elizabeth.jpg

Line Blurb

Every little girl dreams of her future. Whether it be college and a career or marriage and babies. All our life we think about what we are going to do “someday”. Lizzy has dreams. She and her Daddy sat and planned for places to visit, things to try and people to see. With the death of her father when she was ten, she put the list away. Her mother’s depression and her own feelings of abandonment left her without a purpose. Where would be the enjoyment without her whole family to share it with?
By the time she was ready for high school, Lizzy has come to terms with a life full of bumps. Mom has had one boyfriend after another searching for the happiness she had before. Moving to new neighborhoods with each one. Kids are mean at school and friends don’t come easy when you didn’t get to attend with them from kindergarten. Being a semi-loner with only a few girls she can call friends she learns to be self-sufficient. She makes good grades and tries to make her home life easy on her mom. But that all comes to a stop when the latest boyfriend pays too much attention to her growing body. Mom doesn’t notice and the only option she sees is to leave. On her own at sixteen is not ideal, but it’s better than not having any choices.
Streetlife is hard and there isn’t a day that goes by that the thought of going home doesn’t cross her mind. Finding others just like herself makes it bearable. Surviving is easier when you’re not the only one. Then one day, she meets him. That one person that makes you wish for more. Spending time with them makes your day brighter. It makes you wish for everything again. Never think it’s all just an illusion. Betrayal of the worst kind. Pain and humiliation become the norm, and it’s all his fault.
Thirty years later, after making her way in life and bringing her girls with her, she has it all. A successful business and friends who respect her. Living quietly does make for town gossip, but that is just talking. She is content with everything she has and what she fought for. Until he comes back. With him come memories better left in the past. Can she survive with her heart and mind intact? Can she tolerate being around the person who betrayed her, to make her girls happy? This is Lizzy’s story. The final installment of the Mercy’s Angels. What happened to take the light away from her eyes? Why does the past have to resurface now?

What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger

I hate to see this series end, I have fallen in love with Momma, Tiffi, and Jenni and their men.
This is Momma’s story we find out what happened to her when she was found by Greg’s dad and the hell she went through. Greg finds out they were both lied to by him and tries to right what wrongs he can. Momma gets to meet the MC from the north and drool a little bit over them.

Seeing with your eyes the truth can make a difference

Jenni’s story was a great way to show just how what you see and experience as a child may not be how things are when you are an adult.
Jenni saw Momma go through a lot to make sure she was safe, and Jenni loves her for it. When the club comes back she does not understand why momma welcomes them but the love of her husband and his way of proving not all MC’s are the same just might change Jenni’s mind.

Meet our new author – Angela Gray!

Angela Gray

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer? When I was a child. I had always made up games and stories for my friends and me.

How long does it take you to write a book? Depends on the book. I wrote one of my Christmas novellas in two weeks, Chasing Dreams in six months and have also been writing another novel for over a year now.

What is your work schedule like when you’re writing? Lots of coffee or lots of wine.

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk? I like to write with a T.V show on in the background.

How do your books get published? Through Paper Gold Publishing

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books? Inspiration comes at all different times and through any situation. I do use google a lot for information but another way I get my information is by asking people. I ask people questions about how they feel in situations that had left them heartbroken and what not. I use their answers as feedback to create more realistic characters.

When did you write your first book and how old were you? I was about 29 so almost ten years ago. It was the beginning of a paranormal romance that I’ve always wanted to write. However, I shelved it until I finish writing my current book.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing? I like to travel, go on road trips and socialize with my closest friends and family.

What does your family think of your writing? They like my writing. They are proud of my accomplishments.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books? Weirdly enough, organization. My thoughts were once all over the place not I am able to keep them in line.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite? About five. One of my favorites is part of a paranormal series. She’s young, shy and an extremely insecure human. He’s a five-hundred-year-old, billionaire lycan. They become stranded on an island together. Just the two of them. Humans though are forbidden and she’s far to young anyway.

Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so, what are they? Read, write and repeat. Also, listen to people’s feedback. Critics are everywhere and can be used to improve writing. Don’t become offended just listen.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say? I’m new so I don’t hear from them as much as I would like.

Do you like to create books for adults? Yes, I write for a mature audience.

What do you think makes a good story? Relatable characters, mystery, and a good plot. I personally love a forbidden romance.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up? Aside from wanting to be a writer I also want to be a businesswoman.

Any books in the works? Yes. I am working on another romance novel. She lost her memory for the past three years. She wakes in the hospital with heartthrob, famous fiancé and a brand-new baby

What are your plans for the future? I plan to keep putting out more books. I hope to make the bestseller list one day.

Forbidden love – Yes Please! A must-read!

Angela Gray captured my attention from the first page. One question kept going through my mind as I read the book – What happened to Jolie? Angela provides enough hints to that question to keep the pages turning.

Love the word choices and how distinct the voices are for both characters. I also find Jolie very easy to relate to and rooting for her to get better and hoping she will follow her dreams.

The friction at the start of the relationship has me sitting at the edge of my seat hoping to read faster to see how they end up. Love the instant attraction for the forbidden love but being in a motorcycle club, there are no rules so why not?

I enjoy the storyline and how it progresses at the right speed. Definitely a book worth reading over and over again.

Will he find her?

Wow! So I received this book as ARC for an honest review. I never heard of Desiree Scott, but after reading Chasing Chelsey I am a fan. This book drew me in from the very first page. The story is about. The girl who is running from her past. She does not let anyone come close, cause when he does they end up missing or dead. She meets the St. CLAIR brothers and they are vowing never to let anyone hurt her. I read this book in 1 day. Could not put it down needed to know what happens next.

Great Short MC Story

This is a great short, MC read. It tells the story of Momma, Tiffi, and Jenni. They are all part of the same ‘family’ and each has a different backstory as to how they ended up in Mercy’s Angels. The story flowed pretty smoothly and the characters are well developed. There are a few twist that keeps you engaged in the story. Great job by Barbi Barnard on a well written MC.

THIS ONE IS RYANNE’S BEST!

I loved everything about this one, and I want more! There’s a huge surprise in here that I WON’T spoil but it shocked everything in me to read it. I had no clue this book was going there. Kaia and Martin and Bobby are the perfect triangle. That Martin needed. His ass whipped for his mess! Bobby was on my bad list for a minute, but he pulled it in. The part where she confesses something to Bobby had me confused, but soon I realized that she did do something horrible to him first. It took me a second because I can be thick at times but yeah, I saw her wrongdoings too. This is a great read, and I really have no clue why Ryanne Anthony isn’t more famous. Can’t wait for her next book!!!!!!!!

Do not miss this one. Excellent finish for the Mercy’s Angels series.

This was a tough read for so many reasons but the best in the series by far. So much happened to Elizabeth, it is heart-wrenching but so hard to put down. You connect with her in the other books but this one has you wanting to hold her hand to get through her past. It is not a book you will soon forget. I recommend reading from the beginning and understanding how and why. It’s an awesome story and an awesome series.
