I don’t usually read books like this one, but I am glad I read it. This book is about two people who love each other no matter what happens to them. It is about two people who are from different planets, one is a princess, and the other one is a farm boy. He had loved her from afar for a very long time. Finally, they meet, and she picks him from all the other men. She falls in love with him, and he tells her he has loved her for a long time. This book is would you need to read, and you can see that love in the same in any universal. I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a different kind of love story.

My Favorite, So Far

This is how good the author is – she got me to read all three books (thus far) in a day and a half because I ended up staying up late late late to get as far as I could. This third in the series is my favorite, so far. It was really good to relax a bit with the heroine as she continues to grow and learn how to function in a world she knew nothing about. She is wise in so many ways and still innocent in others as she goes about setting up her *normal* life.

She hooks up with the hero (in this book) and here is the author’s gifting – about halfway through, you begin to feel your heart start to pound a little faster in anticipation because you KNOW the other shoe is about to drop. Nothing tells you that as you live with the heroine’s day-to-day activities but the author has written in “looming doom” without you even realizing it. As you’re reading along, you are actually waiting… waiting… because it is coming. You know it. It “almost” ruins the story because you want to skip ahead and see what happens so you can calm down and enjoy the story – but you don’t. You force yourself to take it one page at a time.

Sure there is another stinking cliffhanger. And sure it makes you go “grrr” because you have invested so much time in this amazing story, but if you are like me, you will tell yourself that you are willing to wait until JUNE for the 4th book. I don’t wanna wait, but unfortunately, I HAVE TO KNOW what is going to happen. Maybe I will wait until the entire series is written because it IS hard to read one book every few months hoping nothing happens to stop the continuation of the story.

Yep, obviously, the author hooked me, for sure.

It amazes me how they keep finding each other and at least one of them knows who they really are. Carol Ann Kauffman has such a way to bring these two together in such an unusual way.
Richard accidentality ended up in a kidnapped race car driver’s body. The doctor who walked into his room, her name was Brook, but Richard knew it was Nicole. His Nicole! Head trauma said the doctor, but I can fix him with some time. But Richard didn’t have time. There were people out to kill him. So his Father wanted to take him back to his home in Italy and have the doctor come with them. The head of her hospital didn’t want her to go.
More than once someone tried to take their lives. When Nicole returned to America, her longtime companion wanted to marry her and she said no. You see, by now she knew who Richard is. Without giving anything away, you go through many attempts on their lives and you will be surprised who is doing it. Trips back and forth from America to Italy, with adventure in both countries. Nicole does leave the States to live in Italy and open her own hospital. But that’s not where it ends.
With Nicole’s birthday coming up fast, I knew they had to make some kind of changes. The way it was done was a huge cheer and a tear. I really loved this book. Edge-of-your-seat action. Twists and turns and suspense around every corner. Love Carol Ann Kauffman’s work!!

Great series–I love them!! My review of Belterra, the first book can be found here. I have been eagerly awaiting this sequel!! I am happy to say I loved it as much as I did the first! This can be read as a stand-alone–but I highly suggest you read both. There are problems in Belterra–big ones! The Batrachs have decided to try and take their country back. A forcefield has held them captive in caves for many years. But now they have someone who can help them–who is it? This one may have your heart beating wildly as the Belterran’s attempt first to fight the Batrachs–then try to make peace with them. There are important people that are kidnapped–can they be saved? I really think you will enjoy this one–and it does segue into the Time After Time theme towards the end and sets you up for another one of the books! Great series–I love them!!

The Irrevocable Series is a pretty clean YA dystopian series (end of the world…. not zombie apocalypse). I enjoyed this series very much. I am definitely all for end-of-the-world books. I think my favorite part of this series was Bailey. The loss of the most important people in her life changed her from a pleasant to an angry at the world, bitter self-centered girl. Through each of the books, I could see and feel her growth as a person is trying to deal with everything. Book one sets up the series and books two and three are where all the good stuff happens (for me). These books are action-packed and full of twists and turns. The story is well-written and the main characters are relatable and real. There were a few too many side characters for me to keep straight in my head. All in all, this is a great series and I would recommend this to everyone!

Loved this series

I won a paperback of Rendered, so I bought Retained and Recombined before starting the series, without even knowing what they were really about. This was the first time I read a series like this… The end of the world and conspiracy theories are not something I am into, but Samantha Jacobey sucked me in and held me till I finished them all. I really enjoyed the entire series and the final book, Recombined, really brought it home! It was such a great series!!!

Interesting and just as enchanting as the others!

Lord of Blakeley is Carol ann Kauffman’s latest book in the Time After Time series, and it’s just as wonderful as all the rest! This series keeps getting better and better!

No, these books are not “romance novels” There are no naked men, with nice abs, or page after page of sex scenes, these books weave tales of true romance, of love that is stronger than time. They embrace that love really means and don’t cheapen it!

This story has all the wonderful elements of fantasy and sci-fi that Carol weaves into her classic love story. The character meets on their futuristic planet and fall in love despite their classes, and then are horribly separated by a jealous man. They each go through their own struggles and fight for their love. It’s heartbreaking and wonderful, and draws you in and keeps you reading. You need to know what happens in this cycle of the Time After Time series because you won’t regret it!
