Follow all the fantastic, sexy guys in the Nice Ink Series – Nice Ink (5 book series) by Trish Edmisten

From Book 1:

For the last five years, Heath Mitchell’s only priority has been running a successful tattoo shop. Relationships haven’t been on his radar, but as his thirtieth birthday gets closer, Heath realizes just how lonely he is. Like an answer to his prayers, Ned Nice comes into his shop. Despite the instant attraction between them, a dark secret in Ned’s past makes him afraid to get too close to Heath. Ned isn’t the only one with secrets though. Heath is hiding a secret so big it could be a deal-breaker. Can Heath and Ned find a way to overcome the demons of their pasts, or is it insane to try?

Author’s Note: This is a 91,000-word novel with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA. Trigger warning: Mentions of prior sexual assault.

Wow

This book was so good! Loved Heath and Ned and all the characters that were introduced! Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book! The author did an excellent job!

From Book 2:

Flynn Murphy doesn’t need a man, especially not the cocky and confident Derek Nice. So what if Derek is a cop? Flynn learned a long time ago that just because someone is supposed to do the right thing doesn’t mean he will. Trusting someone is a mistake he’s never-repeating again.

Derek isn’t worried that Flynn isn’t letting him get close yet. All Derek needs is one chance to show Flynn how good they can be together. And he’s not stopping until he gets it.

5 Never Give Up Stars

Ride or Die is the second book in this series and gives us Flynn and Derek’s intense romance hinted at in book one. Flynn has had it rough growing up and Derek is very patient with him, knowing something bad happened to cause the huge walls Flynn throws up to Derek. But Derek knows if he can break those walls down, he and Flynn can find something special. This is a slow burn but once it gets ignited, watch out for the flames! I can’t wait for the next story in this series!

From Book 3:

Cooper Mitchell isn’t what most men expect. Most men see his silver hair and dressed-up dog and assume he’s a sassy little bottom. Cooper may be sassy, but he’s nobody’s bottom boy. That’s just fine with Roger Nice. All it takes is one look and Roger knows Cooper is everything he wants, but can Cooper be the type of Dom he needs? Or are there some things that are just too much to ask? Roger doesn’t think so, at least he hopes not, but will Cooper agree?

Note: This is the third book in the series. While it can be read as a standalone, the other two books should be read first for maximum enjoyment. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed HEA.

This is a 78K word story with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA.
Trigger Warning: This story deals with childhood sexual abuse. All instances occur off-page but are discussed in detail by the MC.

Each book is better than the last

Great storyline. Each book in this series gets better. I love the vulnerability of Roger and his secret kink, the emotion gave me the feels, and Prince Harry William made me smile. This book is a great mix of hot sex, huge emotion, and love.

From Book 4:

Everyone else can fall in love and live happily ever after, but Xavier Owens doesn’t plan on doing the same. With a successful business, plenty of friends, and no shortage of willing bed partners, he always thought he had everything he needed. The only thing missing in his life is someone to share his kink, but that’s not going to happen. The last time Xavier let someone into that part of his life left him with a bruised ego and a broken heart. While both have long since mended, he’s not interested in falling in love again. Fate has other plans in the form of sweet and shy Oliver Nice. There’s something about the man that draws Xavier to him like a moth to a flame. Hopefully, this time he won’t get burned.

This is 78K word novel with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA. Although it’s part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Xavier and Oliver

Awww this book! I love all the Nice brothers but I had a special place for Oliver. He was the nerd, who wrote books and was super quiet, and kept a secret from his brothers. He just pulled at me. X is the big and bad tattoo artist! I love the arguments over songs, all the t-shirts I want to own, between the brothers and the artists, and i love the rapport they have! They all give each other a hard time out of love. I love Oliver’s parents and how obsessed his dad is with a tattoo and how his mom is just on top of things with him. Like all their relationships are so unique, X and Ollie, his parents, X with the shop, and the Nice Brothers I love them all!
I can’t wait for the next story!!

From Book 5:

Damian Bishop thought he found love once, but he was wrong. Suffering one heartbreaking loss after another, he’s done with men. Sure, it’s lonely sometimes, but he’s got a good job, great friends, and a cat. What more does he need?

Kiel Nice feels the same. Why settle for one man when the sexy firefighter can have any man he wants?

Fate, and their friends and family, have other plans for these two. There are only so many times they can be thrown together before the chemistry between them becomes too much to ignore. And maybe just maybe the thing they’ve always been most afraid of? Maybe this could work.

This is the final novel in the Nice Ink series. It’s a 70K word novel with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA despite a few bumps along the way. Although it’s part of a series, each book follows a different couple and can be read as a standalone.

Charming story!

Great finale to the Nice Ink series (though the author hinted that X’s little brother Bailey would get his own story). Damien was sweet and Kiel was irresistible. :). All the guys from the previous stories were there, including the irrepressible Cooper and growly X.
Loved it!

Exactly what I was hoping for!

I have read (and loved) each of the previous Nice Ink books, and this was no exception. I wasn’t sure what X and Oliver’s story would involve, and I wasn’t expecting some of the twists in the book, but they just made the story even better. The simple joy of the characters in each other was heartwarming, especially in these uncertain times. I received an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

So Very Wonderful!

Flynn and Derek were wonderful!!! I loved book 1 in the Nice Ink series and Ride or Die was even better than book 1!
Finally reading Flynn’s heartbreaking history totally explained his mysterious behavior from earlier. His guarded hope when he decided to give Derek a chance was so sweet and emotional. I loved Derek’s understanding and patience with Flynn! His devotion and determination to win over Flynn was so fun to read. The author did a great job with balancing fun, steam, chemistry and family with this book. I’m so anxious to read the next book in the series!

Fantastic! Loved it!

This is a great book from a new to me author. Usually, I don’t really try many new things without a recommendation but came across this, it sounded interesting and like something I’d enjoy so I decided to give it a chance. Very very glad I did!

Firstly hot inked men, yes, please. Secondly, family connections-one of my favorite things. I absolutely love series about families whether by blood or brotherhood. Thirdly, more sexy men-in uniform and a slightly geeky writer. It’s like the author set out to hook me-probably not, but it worked anyway!

I really liked Heath & Ned’s connection and how they worked together. There wasn’t as much naughty time as some but it fit the story and the chemistry and passion was there regardless. They worked out their conflict towards the end maybe not ideally but realistically.

Overall a well-done, engaging book. Loving and sexy. some serious moments but plenty of lighter moments and of course gotta have sarcasm and teasing when you’ve got families involved. Loved meeting all the characters and I will be looking forward to more. Wonder who is next!

Four men overcome their frailties and find true love! – New Beginnings (4 book series) by Trish Edmiston

From Book 1: For as long as he can remember, Nate’s dreamed of being an MMA fighter. Nothing is going to stand in his way and no one is going to distract him. Everything is going according to plan when Natalie comes along. Even though he wasn’t looking for love, Nate can’t help falling fast and hard. Smart, sweet and supportive, she seems too good to be true, but it’s actually the other way around. Nate isn’t good enough for her, and he’s keeping a secret that will change everything between them. One day, she’ll see the truth inside of him. Until then, Nate’s determined to keep Natalie in his life for as long as he can.

Loved it!

I loved The Truth Inside. It was my first trans book I’ve ever read but Trish handled these mature themes very well. I loved Nate and Natalie together and seeing Natalie accepting of Nate made me so happy. I love Joss and Stone together too. Every book Trish writes is fantastic and I’d even read her grocery lists!

From Book 2: When his best friend decided to join the Army after high school graduation, there was no question Joel would join too. Best friends since kindergarten, the two of them did everything together, and this was no different. A routine mission changed their lives forever. Slade ended up paralyzed while Joel lost his leg. Joel never expected to live with one leg, but he wasn’t going to let it break him. Like he did with everything else, he adapted, and he accepted that he was never going to find love. Women might want to sleep with a war hero, but they sure as hell don’t want to live with and take care of one. That theory proves true until Courtney comes along. Beautiful, independent Courtney with her wicked sense of humor is the perfect woman for Joel. All he has to do is trust her enough to accept that he doesn’t have to stand on his own anymore.

His perfect match

In this second book of the New Beginnings, all the characters from the first book are back and we get to see more of Joel and his best friend Slade. Both of them have suffered both physically and emotionally after their time in the army and they are trying their best to cope. This story centers around Joel and the girl he meets, Courtney. Their first couple of encounters don’t go well, but still, there is something between them and Joel is determined to pursue a relationship with Courtney. This book delves into PTSD (which both Joel and Slade suffer from) and the difficulties living with it.

From Book 3: At the age of eighteen, Slade couldn’t wait to join the Army and get away from the boredom of small-town living. Two years later, his life is irrevocably changed when an IED blast leaves him paralyzed from the waist down. Though he’s back in the one place he was determined to get away from, things could be worse. At least he’s got a good group of friends to help him out, and that will have to be enough. No woman wants to be stuck with a broken man. Then Mac comes crashing into his life, stirring up feelings that Slade never thought he would feel again. As much as he wants her, Slade can’t believe she feels the same. Will his insecurities keep them apart, or will Mac be able to convince Slade she loves him the way he is?

Author’s Note: Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This is a 68K word novel with a guaranteed HEA.

Awesome read!

This book tells the story of Slade and Mac (yes Mac is a girl). After being paralyzed in an accident Slade has given up ever finding love. Until he meets Mac. The story shows the reality of the life of a paralyzed man.. Please read the first two books in the series and you will enjoy this story more as you will meet the family and friends. This series has taken over too spit of my all-time favorite reads!

From Book 4: Being born blind, Ken has always lived a sheltered life, thanks to his overprotective mother and older sisters. If it wasn’t for his best friend, Stone, he’d never have any kind of freedom, let alone a life. Twenty-one years old and still living at home, Ken is ready to be independent. When he moves into his own apartment and meets his new neighbor, Cassandra, he knows he’s made the right decision. Ken wants Cassandra, and the feeling seems to be mutual, but he’s worried. Can she accept that he can be everything she needs, or will she let his blindness keep her from taking a chance?

Elizabeth Agiantritis

Love without prejudice

Although this book is a standalone, it is more enjoyable if you read the first 3 books in the New Beginnings series. The hero, Ken, was introduced in the first New Beginnings book, while the heroine, Cassandra, is a new character. Ken is blind and the author does a good job of showing the challenges a blind person may face, without invoking any feelings of pity. Both characters are likable and their relationship unfolds naturally.

Wonderful book in a wonderful series! Must buy! You will fall in love with these characters ❤

Trish Edmisten’s New Beginnings series is my absolute favorite and was looking forward to this to be released ever since I read the preview for Ken’s story and saw him in other books. I preordered it the second it went up and was beyond excited to see it in my library this morning.
THIS BOOK AND THIS SERIES. I love them so much. They’re so realistic and the dialogue feels authentic and natural and every conversation they have isn’t some poetic monologue. The interpersonal relationships are so REAL and wonderful. And the characters are honest and insightful and I want to be their friends/feel like I am.
I’ve been SO excited for Stone’s story since I started the series and this book made me even more excited and fall more in love with Joss.
Love Cassandra and Ken’s story ❤ Now it’s time to reread the first three and then reread this one!!

The only thing i dislike about this series is the cover-art. I almost passed by this series because of it, I’m such a “judge a book by it’s cover” person but I’m so glad I got pulled in by the book descriptions because this series is SO GOOOOOD
