Cute, short
Overall, a pretty cute, short story. I really liked Cam and Kara and enjoyed reading about them. I don’t mind short stories, but I would have liked more of a HEA but was still happy with how things ended up. I was gifted a copy.

5 Stars for Last Chance Christmas
Another winner from LA Remenicky! I didn’t get into the Christmas spirit at all this year, but as I revisited Fairfield Corners this week, I decided there was no reason not to read a Christmas Story in February, and I am so glad that I made the right call. I am in love with Fairfield Corners – such an idyllic small-town setting. Add in some rockstars and hot cops, what isn’t to love?This quick read stars one of Adam’s bodyguards from his touring days, and the sister of another. (And another totally cool dog as well.) Plenty of drama, and a touch of suspense and a HEA in a beautiful Victorian setting. This could certainly be read as a standalone, but why not read Cassie and Ragan’s stories too? I absolutely adore this author, and hope we will see more books and novellas in the Fairfield Corners series – the town is so well described it could be another character in the series, and I adore it! If the weather could be 70 degrees year-round it would probably be exactly where I would want to live.

I loved this story. In fact, I read it in two sittings. Oh, how I hoped … for the main characters. If you said what one thing could have made it better? I would say….. more, please. Lol. Already ready for the next. So I guess I better go back and read the first few in the series. If you love true love… you’ll love this Novella and wish it was an even longer novel. Well done.

I’ve read a few books by L.A.Remenicky and I must say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all. Ms. Remenicky has given us another great story that will suck you in and keep you there from start to finish and then leave you wanting more from this author. Ms.Remenicky has written characters that feel so real that as you read about them you start to feel their pain, and at the same time, you can feel the love that they have for each other. Invisible is Elaine and Jax’s touching story. They both know each other from high school, Elaine is asked to tutor Jax in Geometry, but when he asked her to go out she was so frilled about it. But then she comes home after the date an incident happened with her stepfather Keith, he started to lay into her and poor Elaine ends up being beaten with a baseball bat. And she ends up in the hospital, while Keith is arrested. But when she is released from the hospital she decides that she must disappear, so she changes her name and starts to hide away because she knows Keith will come after her. It’s been 10 years now and poor Elaine is still hiding away, and Jax has joined the police force now. But then one day he’s shot and ends up having to go to a therapist, and to his surprise, the therapist turns out to be Elaine. But soon Elaine finds out that Keith has been released from jail and in no time she knows she must move on. So she and Jax leave to hide out again. Will Keith fine her and Jax, and can Jax protect her from her stepfather for once and for all? This is a touching second chance romance, that has some suspense in the mix of it. I could tell you more about this touching story but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this touching story you won’t be disappointed.

Loved it!
Excellent easy-to-read story about recovering from traumatic experiences. Dori and Jessie each had tragic pasts that held them back from having loving relationships. Dori fled a physically abusive relationship and Jessie was trying to recover from PTSD. Both felt the other one could help them heal. With time and the help of the family, they were able to make it through. Hope to read more about both couples!

Ragan’s Song (Fairfield Corners #2) was a good read by L.A. Remenicky Ragan returned to her hometown to celebrate her parents anniversary. She has a huge secret that she hopes they will forgive her for. She found out thatAdam still lived there and she was hoping he wouldn’t find out her secrets it affects him too. Adam was devastated when Ragan left town three years earlier. She left with no note or text. It has taken the last three years to recover from the heartbreak. Once she returns, the chemistry they once had comes back although they both try to fight it. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by L.A. Remenicky.

Spooky and impossible to put down
I have to start by saying that this book was a pleasure to read. It is also the first that I have read by L.A. Remenicky. That being said, I found her characters to be real, believable, down-to-earth and charming.
Cassie is a woman who has never felt “right” in her own skin and things start to happen that make absolutely no sense at all. First, her parents are killed leaving her orphaned and alone with her grandmother. Then her grandmother dies in a mysterious way leaving Cassie the sole heir of the house she grew up in and her grandmother’s book store. All places that mean a great deal to her, but somehow host something out to get her.
Logan is a new cop who just happens to meet Cassie in typical cop fashion…she gets a speeding ticket. He has no knowledge that his boss, the sheriff, is also Cassie’s best friend and the closest thing to a relative she has now. Logan is immediately drawn to Cassie and it slowly reveals itself in a haunting and highly anticipated way. Logan was sent to save Cassie from the demon entity that inhabited a “friend” from her parents’ past. Spooky, right? I thought so too. How do you fight a demon? How do you hold onto the love of your life and the warmth of the past? What happens when that demon is dead set on destroying not only you but everything you thought you could ever want? They say twins share a special bond and can sense when the other is hurt, AJ feels that something is wrong with his twin Jessie, so when he goes to check up on him and finds him missing, he is shocked to find a woman collapsed on his brother’s doorstep. He comes to the conclusion that Rina is Jessie’s girlfriend. Even though he has developed feelings for her, he does not want to move in on his brother’s girl. Someone appears to be hell-bent on destroying Rina’s dog rescue shelter, so when AJ helps out, they bond over trying to work out who the culprit is. The cliffhanger at the end was definitely not expected, but can’t wait to read the next one if it will be Jessie’s story. I received this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book.
