The year is 2051, and The MedMoore Group is the largest pharmaceutical and medical device producer in the world. The introduction of a new device – The Electric Mask – was revolutionary for Denise, a reclusive burn victim. But when a visit from her estranged sister opens the floodgates, the horror of childhood memories rush in demanding resolution, and the mask is the perfect tool. Some dark memories cannot be forgotten – or forgiven.
This is a neat little psychological thriller. I found myself visualizing the scenes as they unfolded, and that doesn’t happen too often for me. I will read more books by Mr. Bussa.
